Vamoso Travels has been offering unparalleled travel experiences in Peru since its beginning. Our deep-rooted connections and expertise ensure that every journey is unique and memorable.
After nearly a decade working in the travel industry and exploring Peru from coast to jungle, founder Miguel Diaz saw a recurring issue: many travelers were missing the deeper, more meaningful side of the country. Rushed itineraries, generic tours, and a lack of personalized care meant that even the most beautiful destinations felt hollow.
Miguel believed there had to be a better way — and that’s where Vamoso comes in.
Every itinerary is designed by a team of travelers who’ve lived these journeys themselves. And at the center of it all are the Local Expert Guides — carefully chosen locals who act as cultural connectors and trusted travel companions. They’re what make each trip unique, ensuring guests feel welcome, informed, and supported from start to finish.

Visiting Machu Picchu with Vamoso was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The Inca Trail hike went above and beyond what I expected. Our guides were knowledgeable, encouraging, and helped us through the tougher parts like the hike through Dead Woman’s Pass. They also kept an eye on everyone’s well-being and were extremely prepared for any accidents. The food was amazing, even with our dietary restrictions. Everything was customized and still tasted great. The porters were incredible handling all the gear, setting up camp before we arrived, and even waking us up with some nice, warm coca tea. I’d absolutely recommend Vamoso to anyone planning a trip to Machu Picchu.

We just finished The Gringo Route with Vamoso, and it was everything we hoped for. From the short trip to Paracas and Huacachina to then making our way into Cusco and the Andes. We visited Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, the Sun Route, and more (this review would be endless if I named all the places!). Every city/activity felt well planned, and our guide made sure the group was always comfortable and having a good time. If you're thinking about exploring southern Peru, this is the perfect way to do it.
